RACHEL HYMAN WIGS

Premium European Hair Wigs in Ramat Beit Shemesh

Pure European hair, custom-matched shades, and styling that looks and feels like your own hair — at Rachel Hyman's salon, with 27 years of expertise.

What is European Hair?

European hair is hair sourced from donors across Europe — primarily in Eastern and Central Europe — and is considered the gold standard in the wig world. The reason is simple: European hair has a thinner, smoother, more durable cuticle structure than hair from other sources. It falls naturally, holds styling for the long term, and absorbs color in a way that preserves the shine and softness of the hair.

At Rachel Hyman's salon in Ramat Beit Shemesh, we work exclusively with premium European hair. Every wig undergoes personal inspection — from cuticle to seam — before it reaches the client. We don't compromise on quality, even when that means rejecting hair shipments that don't meet our standard.

Why a European Hair Wig?

Who Are Our Clients?

Rachel guides women through every stage of life — brides looking for their first wig, young mothers who feel their existing wig no longer fits, women going through chemotherapy who need a sensitive and dignified solution, and longtime clients who come back every few years to refresh. We welcome clients from Ramat Beit Shemesh and Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem, Modi'in, Tel Aviv, and abroad — many international clients schedule appointments during visits to Israel.

The Selection Process — What to Expect at Your Appointment

Step 1: Getting to know you (15-20 minutes)

The appointment begins with no pressure and no measuring. Rachel asks about your lifestyle, what you love about your natural hair, what length and style feel like "you," and what budget you're comfortable working with. No aggressive sales — the goal is to understand what will actually flatter your face.

Step 2: Measurement and fitting

We measure head circumference, scalp shape, and hairline. Rachel selects 3-5 wigs together with you that fit the analysis — you try each one, view them from multiple angles, and receive an honest opinion.

Step 3: Styling, cutting, and coloring

Once you've chosen the wig, the artistic part begins. Rachel cuts the wig specifically for you, shaping it to your face structure, and if needed adds highlights, balayage, or full coloring so the shade is exactly as you envisioned.

Step 4: Ongoing partnership

After the purchase we don't disappear. Every client receives ongoing support throughout the life of the wig — repairs, refreshes, recoloring, straightening, and restoration services when needed. That relationship is part of our brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between European hair and Asian or Indian hair?

Asian and Indian hair is generally thicker and fuller, but less delicate in appearance and feel. European hair is finer, smoother, and closer in character to the natural hair of Ashkenazi and Sephardic women in Israel. European hair also takes color better — allowing precise matching to your natural shade.

How long does it take to order a custom European-hair wig?

Wigs from our stock can be selected and styled the same day or within a few days. Fully custom wigs — including unique cap construction or complex color — take between 4-8 weeks.

Can I return or exchange?

We work with you until you are one hundred percent satisfied. If something doesn't feel right, we adjust, restyle, or change the shade. That partnership is part of the service.

How do I care for a European-hair wig?

One wash every 2-4 weeks (depending on use), sulfate-free shampoo, a monthly moisture mask, and a suitable brush. We provide full instructions after purchase along with professional care products.
